MOTOR YACHT SOCIETY

This is an unofficial Motor Yacht Society page.
Presented by Classic Wooden Boats.

The purpose of Motor Yacht Society is to look after and maintain our rare fleet of classic boats and yachts. It's a idealistic association with five sections, Yachts, Historic, Racers, Classic and Supporters. It all started in 1971 with a few owners of classic old wooden yachts. Later on the section of racers were formed. In 1990 the "Historic" became a new section of MYS. In 1998 the Historic-section had grown into a non expected proportion witch led to a partition, Historic and Classic. All sections also have a applicant section for boats under renovation. The regulations of these five sections are very clear witch gives the association and the elected boats its well deserved respect.
