Darwin's theory for evolution and natural selection is an illusion or delusion. Natural selection as the survival of the fittest has never been and will never be applied by nature. However, people have been foolish enough to believe in it and also applying it (eugenics). Looking at dictatorships and the type of behaviour promoted within such a system one might wrongfully believe that Darwin's theory is true. Democracy on the other hand promotes survival of the majority, which has nothing to do with survival of the fittest.
It's my understanding that nature is forcing its evolution big time on modern society. The outcome will be a better society with happier individuals. Unfortunately there is also a possibility of self-destruction of the human race. So we are faced with two possible outcomes. Progress of today is strongly in favor of a better world. Consequently we as humans have no reason to interfer with the current development except in one area, genetic research. Everything else that's going on in society is harmless compared to genetic research.
Humans are a creation of nature. How do we ever expect to understand what is the correct way of evolution. Notice, evolution does not have a final state, which in itself makes it impossible for us to understand it.
Evolution means that changes might take place in our genes. So just maybe we shouldn't be messing with genetics at all. To me it looks like we are opening Pandora's box. That is, I predict mankinds self-destruction if we continue with genetic research leading up to introduction of genetically altered humans.
Comment: Genetic engineering might be used if genetically changed individuals are prevented from spreading their genes (sterilization). If it is used in this fashion it will not interfer with evolution. At least that's my understanding. What I'm saying is that we can not allow ourself to introduce genetically changed DNA into the gene pool of the human race or anywhere else in nature.
