There are a couple of ways to explain increasing obesity among children in a society. First, assume that the programming of the children takes place real fast. This means that the level I call need for security in human nature is programmed real fast. This will have two effects: 1/ They will stop experiencing emotions at an early age. 2/ The level of activity that an individual has is probably a reflection of how much activity is required in order to satisfy his/hers instincts. There are now two possible reasons for the childrens obesity. 1/ They have a really low level of activity. 2/ The only way to experience any emotion is to eat and feel full or become aggressive and feel alive.
Obese children would than be the first indication of a stagnant society.
