Meanwhile, it amuses itself by letting one knife dart through the air, making swoops and dives in your general direction, some merely threatening, but others deadly accurate. Test your Resource. If you are successful, turn to 76. If you are unsuccessful, you come up with nothing and lose 1 Vitality point as the knife jabs at you from an unexpected angle. You may Test your Resource as many times as you like until you are successful, but remember to deduct 1 Vitality point for each failure. If you tire of this game you can turn to 16 and try another approach. But if you run out of Vitality, your life ends as the knife spirals down towards you, plunges into your chest, and then twists cruelly one final time...
